Woodwind Service Descriptions

We have organized our frequently requested services into different categories for your reference. Please find below a detailed description of what each of these service packages includes.

P/C (Playing Condition)

The instrument will undergo all required repair procedures in order to restore it to its original "PLAYING CONDITION". Depending on the severity of the problem or the extent of repair/replacement/fabrication needed, additional work may be suggested or itemized charges may apply. The instrument will undergo all necessary repair procedures to bring it back to a state of "PLAYING CONDITION". Depending on the severity of the issue or the extent of repair/replacement/fabrication required, additional tasks may be recommended or specific charges may be incurred. There is no assurance of completion provided by this service. Completion cannot be guaranteed by this service.

Job I (Job One)

The instrument will undergo disassembly, followed by ultrasonic and chemical cleaning. All pads will be replaced, and corks will be used only where necessary. After reassembly, the instrument will be adjusted, oiled, and play tested. This service does not cover any plating, broken parts, or missing components. There is no assurance of completion provided by this service. Completion cannot be guaranteed by this service.

add Key Polish

This service is an enhancement to Job I, in which we utilize our buffing machine and/or hand polishing cloth to refine the accessible sections of every key on the instrument. The process involves polishing the reachable areas of each key.

Job II (Job Two)

The instrument will undergo a disassembly process, followed by ultrasonic and chemical cleaning. All pads and corks will be replaced, and springs will only be replaced if necessary. The cleaned and sterilized springs will be chemically cleaned and sterilized. Additionally, the metal parts will be polished to achieve a "LIKE NEW" condition. After reassembly, the instrument will be adjusted, oiled, and play tested. Please note that this service does not include plating or the replacement of broken or missing parts.

Job III (Job Three)

This encompasses everything that is included in Job II, but it also incorporates the addition of Silver plating (if it is relevant).

Service Warranty
